James was born in Austin, Texas on August 28th, 1963, to Joe Cliford Brown and Evelyn Elaine (Hasty) Brown.
He is predeceased by Bobby Layne Brown and is survived by his parents, as well as Audrey Yvonne, Charles Jay Moore, Stephen Ray Moore, Jeffre Wade Moore, Robert Layne Brown, Jr., and Amanda Brown.
The family would like to express their gratitude for all of the help and care provided to James by Douglas Dixon and Ruth Miller.
A memorial service for James will be held Sunday, October 1, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Heritage Country Church Salado, Texas, 9677 Lark Trail, Salado, TX 76571.
