He was born on January 3rd, 1943 in Crosbyton, TX to Jessie Leagle Morris and Iva Ruth Chambers.
He married Linda Williamson on September 14th, 1960.
He is survived by his wife Linda Morris and 6 children, Ronda Morris of Greeneville TN, Belinda and John Schwertner of Jarrell, TX, Morgan and Victoria Morris of Mineola, TX, Paula and Tom Harkness of Quitman, TX, James and Cendy Morris of Dawson, TX and Monica Turman of Austin, TX. James has 3 brothers: Donald Morris, Ken Chambers, Melvin Morris, 3 sisters: Rene Person, Janis Keith, Darla Farquhar. He has 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
James loved his dog, Roger, very much.
He was a loving father and Papa to all.
