Our beloved mother, Janie Perez Merino, passed away unexpectedly on October 13, 2025 at the age of 61. She was surrounded by her loving family at the time of her passing. A devoted wife to Jesus J Merino for 39 years, a loving mother of Vanessa, Jesus and Lupe, and a grandmother of 10.
Born in Arizona, but raised in Austin, Texas, Janie she spent her time raising her family, making memories and ensuring that her family was well taken care of. She made friendships and touched so many people’s lives everywhere she went. She loved traveling with her family and doing karaoke night with her husband and friends. She loved to sing. She will now sing with the angels, and we will remember her as having the biggest heart and being so strong.
A visitation will be held at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, located at 2900 Williams Drive, Georgetown, Texas, 78628, on October 25, 2025, from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm.
A funeral service will take place at the same venue on October 25, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
