

Jennifer Lynn Mullins Faver, a gifted teacher, died at her home in Little Elm, Texas on December 20, 2008. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on November 19, 1973 to Jimmy and Minette Mullins. Although her family moved to Georgetown when she was quite young, she remained a stalwart Redwings fan. She was a graduate of Georgetown High School where she was a proud member of the marching band drum line. She was also an alumna of Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos where she majored in English and minored in Mathematics. She taught 6th-8th grade in math in Joplin, Missouri, Temple ISD, Hutto ISD, and Pleansanton ISD. In addition to regular teaching duties she tutored at-risk students before and after school, supervised extracurricular activities such as UIL Math competitions and Chess Club. She worked with ill students as a homebound teacher in all subjects. Jennifer possessed many talents. She was gifted in computer technology from installing networks to creating every aspect of powerpoint presentations and website management. She played guitar as well as drums, she had begun to learn the violin. Jennifer was an exceptional photographer. Along with her many talents and license, she held her real estate license. Jennifer is survived by her husband, Gerald Faver of Little Elm, Texas; mother, Minette Puckett and her brother, Andy Mullins of Nashville, Tennessee; along with many friends in Central Texas, as well as numerous beloved pets. A memorial service for Jennifer will be held at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel in Georgetown, at 2:00PM on Tuesday, December 30, 2008. Burial will be held privately for the family.
