June 17, 1947 – November 10, 2025
Jeri Lynn Jackson, 78, of Georgetown, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on November 10, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on June 17, 1947, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, Jeri was the daughter of Jerry and Eunice Watson, who nurtured in her faith, a generous heart, and a love for family that defined her life. On April 22, 1967, she married the love of her life, the late James Jackson, and together they built a home filled with laughter, faith, and kindness.
Jeri was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who poured her heart into caring for those she loved. Her greatest joy came from time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, who knew her as a constant source of encouragement and unconditional love. She lived her faith daily through her service to others and her years of volunteering at The Caring Place in Georgetown, where her compassion touched many lives.
Jeri is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Schneider, and husband Neal; her son, Kevin Jackson, and wife Michelle; her beloved grandchildren, Andrew Schneider, Madison Arrieta and husband Grant, and Abigail Jackson; and her siblings, Richard Watson, Polly Watson, and Ward Watson. She was preceded in death by her husband, James, with whom she now rejoices in eternal life.
A service celebrating Jeri’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 14, at Faith Lutheran Church, 4010 Williams Dr, Georgetown, TX 78628. A reception and lunch will follow immediately after the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Caring Place in Georgetown, Texas, where Jeri faithfully volunteered.
Her gentle spirit, steady faith, and love for others will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who knew her.
