Joe Fernando Medrano

Joe Fernando Medrano, 57, of Georgetown entered into rest December 25, 2010 in a local care facility. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm on Monday, December 27, 2010 in The Gabriels Funeral Chapel & Crematory in Georgetown. Rev. David Balderas will officiate at the funeral service to be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Georgetown Memorial Park. Honoring his memory as pallbearers will be: Cito Perez, Mark Mason, Anthony Medrano, Anthony Saldana, Christopher Gonzales, and Mark Medrano. Joe was born January 11, 1953 to Jose Gonzales and Lenora (Fuentes) Medrano in Temple. He married Rachel Gonzales on June 9, 1973 in Georgetown. Joe worked as a truck driver in the construction business. Joe leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Rachel of Georgetown; son, Joe Michael Medrano of Georgetown; grandchildren, Michael and Lenora Medrano of Georgetown; sisters, Margarita Buckwalter of Bensalem, PA., Beatrice Pena of Skidmore, and Sarah Medrano of Lubbock; brothers, Jonas Medrano of Georgetown, Jesus Medrano of Kingsville, Anthony Medrano and John Paul Medrano both of Austin.
