

Johnny Longoria Ochoa, Sr., 77, of Jarrell, passed away on June 19, 2014. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22, 2014 from 6pm to 8pm at the Gabriels Funeral Chapel, 393 North IH-35, Georgetown, Texas, with a Rosary being recited at 7pm. A service celebrating his life will be held on Monday, June 23, 2014 at 10am at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel. Honoring Mr. Ochoa as pallbearers will be: Joshua Martinez, Isidro Ochoa Jr., Nathaniel Aguilar, Chris Valdez, Arthur Ochoa Jr., Justin Ochoa, Angelo Ochoa and Alex Lagunes. Johnny was born on September 19, 1936 in Poth, Texas to the late Akilino and Isabel Ochoa. He attended school in Levelland, Texas. In 1965, John moved his family to Colorado where he was in law enforcement. In 1967, he relocated with his family to Georgetown. He drove a semi truck for over 15 years, both in short and long distance hauls, and in his spare time, he enjoyed music, playing guitar and had a passion for fishing. Johnny is preceded in death by his parents; seven brothers, daughter, Guadalupe Ochoa Martinez and grandsons Jonah and Miguel. He leaves behind to cherish his memory: his children: Rosa Ochoa, John Ochoa, Jr. and wife Elva, Arthur Ochoa, Sr. and wife Ida, Leroy Ochoa and wife Melissa, Marcelo Ochoa, Isidro Ochoa, Elma Ariza and husband Vincent, Robert Zaragoza and wife Lucy, Roman Zaragoza and wife Jessica; brother, Pete Ochoa and wife Beatrice; sister, Carmen Lozano and husband, Isabel; 21 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and numerous other loving family and friends.
