The Lord has taken him home sooner than we expected. Within his short life, he touched many lives with his kindness and generosity and made many people smile with his infectious laugh.
Born on July 14, 1983, in Georgetown, Texas. The second child of four children of Grizelda Chavez. Jose was a young man who was adventurous, loving, very caring, and willing to help anyone who needed it.
Jose graduated from Georgetown High School in 2001. He loved to work in the body shops with cars and motorcycles. His passion was to paint. Jose had a wonderful eye for art. His artwork even won awards.
His heart led him to Afton, Texas where he met his wife, Lori, and instantly became a father of 4 to Desiree, Destinee, David, and Devon. Then shortly after they had a beautiful son named Daniel. Jose was the best loving father that any man could aspire to be.
Jose captivated his new community with his lifting spirits and charm. He became a role model for many people where he spent the last years of his life. There is where he learned to love and praise the Lord. Jose met no stranger, everyone instantly became a friend. He had many jokes for anyone willing to listen.
Jose was the life of the party he loved music and dancing. He will forever now be dancing with the angels in Heaven.
Jose will always be remembered for his smile, joy, and of course, his crazy jokes.
Jose is survived by his loving wife, Lori Castro-Sanchez; along with five children, Desiree, Destinee, David, Devon, and Daniel; Grandmother, Severa Meza (helped raise him like her own); mother, Grizelda Sanchez; stepfather, Ector Loyola; father, Andres Calixtro; sister, Janie Cleaver; brothers, Jesus Chavez and James Loyola; and many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
