Joyce Julia Ida Cooper Cole age 92, died Sunday night December 24, 2023. She was born on January 27, 1931 in Dallas, Texas to the late Jimmy Cooper and Evie Evelyn Monk Cooper. She was preceded in death by two of her daughters, Georgette Cole and Sherry J Larson and 5 sisters. Survivors are her daughter Julia A Metzger, granddaughter Christina Metzger, grandson Brian Metzger, and great grandson Zachary Metzger. She worked retail for many years until retiring and she loved to read and watch country music on television.
A visitation with the family will take place on Monday, January 8, 2024 from 5-7 PM at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel in Georgetown. Funeral services will be held the following morning, Tuesday, January 9, 2024 beginning at 11 am, also at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel, with the burial at Liberty Hill Cemetery.
