Juanita A. Riojas

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Jesse Riojas; children and spouses, Jesse J. and Laura Riojas, Irma and Bob Rostohar, Daniel Riojas, Gary and Monica Riojas, and Norma and George Botello; grandchildren, Michael and Jesse Botello, Jillian Riojas, Ryan, Ellie and Mila Rostohar, and Matthew, Jacob, Sadie and Isabela Riojas; great granddaughter, Ryleigh Botello; and son, Edward Riojas who precedes her in death.

Juanita was a devoted Mother and Homemaker. After her children were grown, she found a passion for the care of others as a Certified Nurses Aide at Wesleyan Nursing Home and Georgetown Hospital. She had a tender heart for those who were ill and needed her help and a smile to brighten their day. She worked at Georgetown Hospital until she retired to spend time with her husband and grandchildren.

Our family wishes to express special thanks and gratitude to Juanita’s caregivers, Jeannie Drouhard, Denise Beara and Maribel Martinez. You were our Mom’s angels.

The family will receive guests for a time of visitation from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Monday, January 7, 2013 at the Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown with a reciting of the rosary at 7:00 P.M. A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Helen Catholic Church in Georgetown with Father Jairo Sandoval officiating. Interment will follow at Georgetown Memorial Cemetery in Georgetown. Serving as pallbearers will be Jesse Riojas, Daniel Riojas, Gary Riojas, Michael Botello, Jesse Botello and Ryan Rostohar.
