Julia Ellen Fitzgerald

Our beloved mother, Nana, sister and aunt, Julia Ellen Fitzgerald, 63, of Georgetown, TX, was called home by our Heavenly Father on February 27, 2011. Julia was born on July 31, 1947 to Ira and Julia (Smith) Fitzgerald, in Auburn, NY.

Julia was preceded in death by parents Ira and Julia Fitzgerald and brother Barry Fitzgerald.

Julia is survived by her Children: Dee-Dee and husband, Todd Embry of Georgetown, TX and daughters Morghan, Kelsie and MacKayla; Tammie MacNabb of Georgetown,TX and children Brittani and husband, Blake Stewart and Casey Niederhauser; Scott MacNabb and wife, Amanda of Jarrell, TX and children Mike “Mickey”, Mathew and Courtney; Kathy and husband, Chad Knudsen of Georgetown, TX and sons Colton and Clint; Becky and husband, Bill Bell of Georgetown, TX, and daughters Emily and Katie; Betsy and husband Mike Stanford, of Georgetown, TX and children Anabelle and Beau; Julie MacNabb of Liberty Hill, TX and children Tommy and Julia Ellen, III “Ellie”. Julia is also survived by sister Barbara Jenksen of Bradenton, FL; brother Bob and wife Lucy (sister at heart) Fitzgerald of Victor, NY; sister, Betsy Tecca of Bradenton, FL; brother Brad Fitzgerald of Savannah, NY; sister, Jane Youngs of Cayuga, NY; and Bonnie Waldren of Syracuse, NY. Aunt Judy’s love was embraced by 17 nieces and nephews and many more great nieces and great nephews.

Julia will be remembered for her legacy of Love, Strength, Courage, Craziness, Faith, Fun, and Family.

A Celebration of Julia’s life will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2011, at three o’clock in the afternoon, in the chapel of Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home at 2900 Williams Drive in Georgetown, Texas with Pastor Dan Wooldridge officiating.
