Karen and her husband moved from Philadelphia to Georgetown five years ago to be closer to her family as she fought a courageous battle against breast cancer. Fluent in Spanish, Karen was a teacher, translator, mentor, and finally, an investment manager.
Karen is survived by her husband of 19 years; Jack, of Georgetown; sister, Janet; one nephew and one niece; and two beautiful grand nieces, all of Cypress, Texas.
