Kathleen Myers

Kathleen Myers, 56 , of Cedar Park, entered into rest May 3, 2008 at her home surrounded by family and friends. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 22, 2008 at First Presbyterian Church in Georgetown with Dr. Michael Roberts officiating. Kathie was born on January 30, 1952 to Joseph C. and Jean M. (Norris) Myers in Weymouth, Mass. She came to Central Texas in 1994 and went to work for the Cedar Park Public Library where she most recently held the position of Circulation Coordinator. She was an active member of First Presbyterian Church and sang in the choir. She spent her free time working in her garden, baking and preparing "fancy food" for her friends. Kathie is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her brother; Glenn and wife Heather of Hull, Mass., nephews; Sean and Kevin of Hull, Mass., cousin; Irene Vafides of Hull, Mass., and cherished and loving friends; Erin Browning and Joyce Walden. The family suggests memorial contributions be made in Kathie's name to the Cedar Park Public Library Foundation, 550 Discovery Blvd. Cedar Park, 78613.
