Keely Rene Joseph

Keely Rene Joseph of Georgetown TX passed away at her home on May 10, 2016. She was born in Fort Belvoir, VA in 1962. She graduated from Balboa High School in the Canal Zone, Panama in 1979, and graduated from Texas A&M in Urban Forestry in 1989. She saw a lot of the world with her family through her father's assignments with the US Air Force.

She was most recently employed as a technical writer at National Instruments, Austin TX.

Keely was active in many dog and cat rescue organizations, including Austin Dog Rescue, Central Texas Feline Rescue, and Bastrop Animal Rescue. She was passionate about fostering and rescuing dogs and cats herself. She is remembered for her tenacity and extraordinary kindness.

She is survived by her parents, Harry and Patricia Joseph of Georgetown TX; brother Gerry Joseph of Jarrell, TX; brother Jeffrey Joseph and wife Stephanie and nephew Bruen R. Joseph of Whidbey Island, WA, and Bryce R. Joseph of Camp Lejeune, NC; and dogs Tansey and Paisley.

A Reception will be held on Monday, May 16, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cook Walden-Davis Funeral Home in the Southwestern Room.
