Leroy William “Lee” Cone was born June 27, 1943 in Olean, New York, the son of Harry W. and Louise (Watkins) Cone. He passed from this life May 22, 2022 in Georgetown, Texas, at the age of 78. Lee had lived in Georgetown since 2015, moving here from Arlington, Virginia. Lee was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked for Projection Presentation Technology as Vice President of Quality and Standards for 40 years. He enjoyed traveling with his work and had great mechanical and technical abilities.
Lee was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Louise. He is survived by his brothers, Harry Cone and wife Ellie, Richard Cone and wife Cara and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Interment will be held in Elmira, New York.
