Lester Herbert Norrie Jr.

Lester H. Norrie Jr., age 72, of Georgetown, Texas, formerly of Enfield, Connecticut, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2012. He was born in Hartford, Connecticut on April 9, 1939 to parents Lillian Uzell and Lester Norrie Sr. Lester was a member of the Disabled Veterans Association.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa (Rita) Norrie of Georgetown, Texas; mother, Lillian (Willey) Percoski of Rockville, Connecticut; step mother, Rose Norrie of East Windsor, Connecticut; daughter, Tammy DiRosa of Falls River, Massachusetts; three granddaughters, Jessica French of Palmer, Massachusetts, Chelsey French of Chester, Connecticut and Kristen French of Chester, Connecticut; ten sisters, Janet Foxe of Manchester, Connecticut , Jean LaPore of Manchester, Connecticut, Jackie Olesen of Plainville, Connecticut, Rosemary Dumas of East Hartford, Connecticut, Maryann Styczynski of Wisconsin, Joan Wade of East Windsor, Connecticut, Theresa Sienkiewicz of Enfield, Connecticut, Karen Conway of Kansas City, Kansas, Carol Schneider of Virginia and Lisa Buckley of Windsor, Connecticut; and two brothers, Alex Norrie of St. Petersburg, Florida and Arthur Norrie of Georgetown, Texas.

A memorial service to celebrate Lester’s life will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at St. Gabriel Church in Windsor, Connecticut with Father Edmund Karwowski officiating.
