Lewis was larger than life. He always had a story to tell, a laugh to share and a love that had no boundaries.
While he loved seafood, the US Army, Conoco and life, he had no greater love than Javelina football. He went to all the games, met the players and celebrated them year round, win or lose. He was never without a Javelina shirt, hat and huge smile.
He lived his life as an example of exceptional pride in his country, love for his family and a pillar of faith in the Lord which he shared with those who were lucky enough to know him.
He deeply loved his friends and family and if there was ever a man to give that shirt off his back, that was Lewis.
He took pride in the successes life allowed him and took the hard times on the chin, teaching all of us to rise above adversity and play the cards we were dealt.
He was a constant peace and a true hero to his family and friends.
