Lillie Hargett

Lillie Hargett, age 74, gently passed from this life into her eternal home on Monday, July 18, 2011. She was born on March 27, 1937 just outside of Thrall, Texas. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Georgetown and was retired from Williamson County where she had worked for many years. Lillie was very active in the Beta Sigma Phi women’s sorority of Georgetown where she served in many different roles and deeply enjoyed the friendships she had made. After graduating from Thrall high school in 1955 she attended business school in Temple, Texas and later moved to Houston, Texas. She and her family moved back to Williamson County in 1974 settling in Georgetown, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim Hollan and Eulala Winniford Wilson Hollan.

She is survived by her son Andrew Hargett, daughter-in-law Candice Hargett, and granddaughter Harleigh Hargett all of Austin, Texas.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 23, 2011 from 6pm – 8pm at the Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 24, 2011 at 2pm in the chapel of Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home with Reverend Yvonne Coon officiating.
