

Lois Heck Wyatt, age 88, passed away on December 27, 2014. Lois Jean Heck was born on December 6, 1926 to Walter O. and Ida L. Heck in Natrona Heights, PA. She lived and worked in Pittsburgh, PA where she met the love of her life, Howard F. Wyatt. She was a loving wife and mother, who spent her life as a homemaker, while taking care of her family during the many moves they made around the country. Lois loved serving The Lord and was always active in the churches she belonged to. She devoted countless hours to volunteering for a wide variety of charitable organizations. Her passions were quilting, collecting antiques, vacationing at the beach, spending time with her two daughters and chocolate.
She was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 50 years, Howard F. Wyatt, her parents, brother Willis A. Heck and sister Grayce Harley. Lois is survived by her two daughters, Suzanne W. Faerber and husband Charles and Amy B. Wyatt; nephew, David Heck and wife Susan; niece, Barbara McMillin; brother-in-law, Robin H. Wyatt and wife Maria; and several great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Lois’ special Angels: Wanette, Charmaine and Melissa; for their companionship and caregiving the last few years.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 11:00 AM at The Worship Place Sun City, Georgetown to celebrate Lois’ life.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: The Caring Place in Georgetown, The Wounded Warrior Project, or a charity of your choice.
