Margaret Sopko

She was born at home on June 27, 1930 to George and Anna (Kvak) Havrilla in Lakewood, Ohio. Margaret graduated from Lakewood High School in 1948, then became Executive Assistant to Frank J. Sullivan of RPM International. She married Richard M. Sopko on June 21, 1958, at St. Cyril & Methodius Church in Lakewood, Ohio. She was cherished by many, and found tremendous joy in her family, ballroom dancing, cooking, baking and travel. Margaret brought humor and fun to everyone she touched.

Margaret Sopko was the devoted wife of Richard Michael Sopko of Georgetown, Texas for 58 years. She was a caring and affectionate mother to her three children; Laura Ann Yasko (late Alan William) of Lake Forest, Illinois, Donna Lynn Allen (Daniel Scott) of Raleigh, North Carolina, and son, Michael Richard Sopko (Ony) of Los Angeles, California. She was also an adoring grandmother to her six grandchildren: Jason Alexander, Nathan William, Aaron Michael, Alexandra Jordan Yasko, Haley Cailin and Olivia Caili Allen.

A private Memorial Service honoring and celebrating Margaret will be held at a later time at St. Helen Catholic Church in Georgetown, Texas.
