Marguerite E. Hughes

Marguerite Elizabeth (Fox) Hughes, 52, of Georgetown passed away, Friday, May 1, 2015. Services are private. Marguerite was born on March 5, 1963 in Georgetown, Texas. After graduating from Copperas Cove High School, she married Donald Lee Hughes, with whom she shared the joys of life together for more than 30 years until his passing in 2012. From the age of 15 she worked in the family business at Fox Auto Parts and was "the best parts lady in the country" for more than 20 years. She will be fondly remembered for her smile and for her genuine and joyful way of attending to peoples' needs. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; and her mother, Anne Fox. She leaves behind to cherish her memory: her father, Ronald Fox; daughter, Sarah Hughes Soto; son, Waylon Hughes and wife Melissa; grandchildren: Michael Soto, Jacob Soto, Ronald James Soto, Logan Soto and Emma Hughes; brother, Ronald G. Fox; sister, Karen McMillan; her best friend "Noni" and other loving family and friends.
