

Marty, as she was known by her friends, was born in Coldwater, Kansas on November 5, 1933. She attended Kansas State University and was a member of Chi Omega sorority. After a unique and full life raising four children through stops in the following cities such as: Wichita, Kansas, Liberal, Kansas, Amarillo, Texas, Dallas, Texas, Woodbridge, Virginia, Richardson, Texas, Austin, Texas, San Antonio, Texas, Seguin, Texas and Lubbock, Texas, she wound up in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma where she met and married the love of her life, Patrick Brian. They moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and then Sun City, Georgetown, Texas. While in Sun City, Marty loved staying active, enjoying her good friends, visiting family, traveling, dancing with Pat, painting and performing in theatrical productions.
She enjoyed life completely, had many friends and was adored by her family.
Marty is survived by her loving husband, Patrick Brian; son, Scott A. Clark and wife Christine of Killeen, Texas; son, Paul A. Clark of Amarillo, Texas; daughter, Shelley Behrhorst and husband Fritz of Phoenix, Arizona; daughter, Lisa Sue Elwood of Miami, Florida; grandson, Ian Clark of Killeen, Texas; and sister, Sue Baker and husband Charles Baker in Clarkson Washington.
A celebration of Martha’s life will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, March 11, 2016 at the Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas with a reception to follow in the Southwestern Room at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at 1:00 P.M. Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas following the reception.
In lieu of flowers, charitable donations to Alzheimer’s Foundation is suggested.
