Maureen ‘Mo’ Work passed peacefully on October 27th with her cat guiding her soul to heaven. She lived a full life of outdoor activities and gambling the lottery. She dedicated 39+ years as a teacher and assistant principal.
She is survived by son Tom Huey and daughter-in-law Yvonne Huey. Grandchildren - TJ Huey, Jessica Mendiola, Malerie Shackleton and Joseph Mendiola. Great grandchildren - Atlas and Indie Shackleton and Thomas Huey IV. Siblings - Charles and wife Mary Ellen Work, Judy Shankle. Niece/nephews - Rebecca, Sabrina, Laurel, Vernon Charles and JP.
A Celebration of Life will be held at The Den @ Wolf Ranch: 129 Canyon View Rd, Georgetown, Tx 78628, on Saturday, November 15, 2025 from 11am-2pm.
