

Born on July 3, 1954, in Hannibal, Missouri, Michael led a life marked by dedication and creativity. Moving at the age of 14 to Kileen Tx. At the age of 19, he joined the U.S. Army, where he served honorably for eight years. During his military service, he earned multiple certificates of achievement and was awarded the National Service Award in recognition of his contributions.
Beyond his military career, Michael had a passion for creativity and craftsmanship. He loved to draw and took great joy in building intricate mechanical models. His appreciation for the outdoors was evident in his enjoyment of sitting outside and working in the yard whenever possible. He also had a deep affection for his beloved cats, who brought him great comfort and companionship.
Michael is survived by his brothers James and Patrick, as well as his nephew Joshua and niece Haley. He is preceded in death by his father James, mother Susan, and brother David.
A service to honor Michael’s life will be held on March 20, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery, located at 11463 Fort Hood St., Killeen, Texas, 76542.
