He was born on August 14,1935 in Alliance, Nebraska. He died on February 12, 2024, at the age of 88 after a short illness.
He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived by his wife, DeeG. and three sons: Kelley (Lynn), Danny (Tyler), and Mark (Cheryl.) In addition, he was blessed with 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Chub had a very successful sales career, including Kirby Vacuum and Pet Milk before entering the medical industry in 1966 with Baxter Healthcare. His work took the family to Denver, Albuquerque, California, Dallas and Houston, before his retirement at age 59. Chub and DeeG spent 16 happy years working with miniature horses before moving to Sun City in 1999. He enjoyed traveling and had many wonderful trips with DeeG and friends.
Chub never met a stranger, which served him, well, both in his career and his retirement. He was very active as President of Zoomers, one of the largest charter clubs in Sun City. He also spent time as president of the Neighborhood Rep. Organization, which works with the entire community. In addition, Chub was instrumental in starting the Nebraska Club.
Chub stayed active and had many hobbies, including billiards, bowling and tennis. His family and friends meant the world to him. Chub was the life of every party he ever attended.
A Celebration of Life gathering will take place at the Worship Place, 811 Sun City Blvd. Georgetown, Texas, on March 9th between 10:00am and 12:00pm. The family will welcome guests during this time to celebrate a life well lived.
