Nat Lopez

Nat R. Lopez, age 68, of Georgetown, Texas, went to be with his Lord on Monday, April 22, 2013. He was born November 11, 1944 in Levelland, Texas to parents Conception Lopez and Maria Ventura Reya. Nat owned Lopez Grocery for many years.

He was a great man who cared who cared a lot about his family. Nat was always ready to help his family and friends when they needed it. He loved his grandkids very much. He did lots a lot for them and talked about them all the time. Nat was a hard worker who loved to work. He was also a fighter who never gave up. When he would get sick, as soon as he was well, he was right back at work.

He is survived by his loving wife, Margarita Lopez of Georgetown, Texas; daughter, Diane Cruz of Georgetown, Texas; grandson, AJ Cruz of Georgetown, Texas; granddaughter, Kitana Cruz of Georgetown, Texas; sisters, Becky Hernandez and husband Jimmy of Georgetown, Texas and Rose Valdez of Georgetown, Texas; and brother Emilio Lopez of Georgetown, Texas.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from five o’clock until seven o’clock in the evening, on Friday, the 26th of April 2013, at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas with a Rosary to follow at seven o’clock. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, the 27th of April 2013 at ten o’clock in the morning at St. Helen Catholic Church in Georgetown with Father Becker officiating. Interment will follow at Georgetown Memorial Cemetery in Georgetown, Texas.
