

Noma Faye Tucker, 94, of Georgetown, entered into rest on December 20, 2010 in a local care facility. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 in the Gabriels Funeral Chapel & Crematory in Georgetown. A service to celebrate her life and faith will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, December 23, 2010 in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Fore Cemetery. Faye was born May 10, 1916 to John Rhea and Martha Alice (Williams) Tucker in the farming community around Andice. Family needs caused Faye to become active in caring for her siblings and the farm at an early age. Faye enjoyed living in Central Texas, she is remembered by her family as never having an unkind word about anyone. She loved caring for her family over the years cooking and baking pies. Faye was a faithful follower of The Price Is Right and The Wheel Of Fortune, scheduling her day around their broadcast times. Faye was preceded in death by her father and mother; brothers, James Elbert Tucker, Olen B. Tucker, and Aubrey Tucker; sisters, Rose Allen and Alpha L. Green. She leaves to cherish her memory her sisters, Johnnie M. Good of Waco, Dessie Roper of McGregor, and Essie Stephens of Broken Arrow, OK; niece/daughter, Shirley Woodliff of Georgetown and numerous other nieces and nephews and many friends.
