Still remembering Norman with great fondness!

It’s hard to believe it’s been a year! At the time, we were visiting relatives in Wales, and the day and hour of the memorial service, we were high up on a very windy and cold moor in North Yorkshire hiking toward a massive Celtic cross, and Stanford’s Nunc Dimittis kept playing itself over and over in my head as I privately thought about this precious, precious gentleman and his late wife, Alice, my cousin). I know they are resting in perfect peace together. ❤️

Tom and I send our sincere condolences, and sorrow that we could not have one last visit with Norman, and be there with you celebrating his life, because of being here in the UK on vacation since May 1. We were walking across a cold Yorkshire moor on Monday, and Norman and Stanford’s beautiful Nunc dimittis in b flat were on my mind. Singing that with him in the choir at All Saints’ in Austin was my first notice of his lovely tenor  voice https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=G_O2CshCR0s. Hope you will play the link. We have some wonderful memories being with Uncle Norman traveling to Florida for thanksgiving and Rockport to the  hummingbird festival. He was a joy to be with. We are soo happy we moved to Texas and were able to visit him often in Georgetown. He had a life well lived.
