Olivia "Libby" Katherine Ponder

Olivia “Libby” Ponder passed away on October 2, 2010 in Austin, Texas at the age of 57. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel, 393 North IH 35, Georgetown, Texas 78628. A service celebrating Libby’s life and her faith in our Lord Jesus Christ will be held on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at 11:00AM at the Central Baptist Church, 301 North Lake Creek Drive, Round Rock, Texas 78681. Cremation will follow. Libby was born February 17, 1953 in Dallas, Texas to Allen Collier and Alma Katherine Williams Coburn. She is preceded in death by her father, Allen Collier Coburn in November of 2006. She relocated with her family to Houston, Texas at an early age. Libby had a love of life and family. She again relocated from Houston to Austin in 1994 and resided there until her passing. Libby talked often of her love for the water and spent many wonderful times at the Gulf of Mexico while growing up in Houston. Upon moving to Austin, she enjoyed sailing on Lake Travis. Libby was a devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by her loving husband, Donald Ponder; her mother, Kay Coburn, her children and stepchildren, Jason Daughtry and wife Chelsie of South Lake, Texas, Kimberly Klenk and husband Clint of Cypress, Texas, David Ponder and wife Amanda of Houston, Texas, and Alicia Foxworth and husband Wade of Austin, Texas; her brother, David Coburn of Georgetown and niece, Karen Coburn Austin, Texas. She has five grandchildren, Isaiah, Noah, and Trinity Daughtry; Hailey and Garrett Klenk; and one step grandson, Bradley Wood, along with numerous other loving family members and friends.
