

Norman was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle, who lived with a passion for life. Norman was an exceptional athlete. He loved playing sports and coaching. He was the State of Maine basketball champion in 1954. He enjoyed playing board games and cards.
Norman was born on March 6, 1934, to Joseph E. Lizotte and Mary Alice Lizotte in Greenville, Maine. He is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers Roland and Paul Lizotte, his sisters, Germaine King and Nancy McCray.
Norman is survived by his wife, Mary Lizotte, and his four children: Cindy Sanchez and her spouse, Nathan, Sheryl Moreno, Michelle Lizotte and Omar Lizotte and his spouse, Margie; seven grandchildren, Roger, Joshua and Stephen Moreno, Christopher, Nicholas and Austin Sanchez and Jacklyn Lizotte; and ten great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was a Korean War veteran and served with distinction in the Army from 1954 - 1957. Norman was a Specialist 3rd class.
Norman met the love of his life, Mary Sanchez, while both were stationed at Fort Knox, Kentucky. Norman and Mary were married in Fort Knox on October 5th, 1957.
Norman retired from Montgomery Wards after a successful career managing the Automotive Department at Capital Plaza. He was awarded numerous Sales Achievement Awards for his Outstanding Sales Leadership.
Norman was a member of Saint Albert the Great Catholic Church.
Norman never met a stranger. He was always the life of the party and he would give you his last dollar if you needed it. He loved to travel. Las Vegas was his favorite place to go. He will forever be remembered for his singing renditions, dancing, his storytelling and his witty humor. Although we can no longer see him with our eyes or touch him with our hands, we will feel him in our hearts forever. The family celebrates his life and finds comfort in knowing he is in heaven with his family watching over us.
A visitation for Omar will be held Tuesday, December 7, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, 2900 Williams Drive, Georgetown, TX 78628. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM. Burial services will follow at Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery, 14501 North Ih-35, Pflugerville, TX 78660.
