

Pamela Jean Hannusch Hight of Georgetown passed away unexpectedly on July 21, 2017, just days shy of her 62nd birthday.Pam was born on August 3, 1955 in Georgetown, Texas. She grew up in Austin, graduating from McCallum High School in 1973. As only God can make plans for a life, He placed in motion a young recruit at Concordia College where an Associate of Arts degree was earned. Pam then earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Teaching in 1977 from Concordia Teachers College in Seward, Nebraska. The Lutheran Teachers Diploma accompanied her degree. After graduation, Pam answered the call to teach 1st grade at Trinity Lutheran School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She moved back to Texas and spent the past 31 years teaching 1st grade at Zion Lutheran School in Walburg.She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Lena (Marx) Hannusch, and infant brother Warren Hannusch.She is survived by her loving children, Nathan Scott Hight and Lisa Marie Hight, both of Georgetown. She is also survived by her sisters, Beatrice Scogin and husband John W. of Round Rock, and Jacquelyn Ward and husband Clifford of Pflugerville. She is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews Deanna Huff and her children Jason Huff and wife Hayden and Krystal Huff; Steven Ward; Cindy Nelson; Ken Ward and his children Brandy Markert and her husband Wayne, their children Nicholas and Daniel, Shelly Ward and her children Roland and Ariel, and Tiffany Ward; and John Scogin, and many friends and loved ones, and her church and school family.Pallbearers will be Steven Ward, John Scogin, Jason Huff, Don Artieschoufsky, Lloyd Fischer and Trenton Fischer.
