

Paulette Maidlow was born December 27, 1958 in Warwick, New York, the daughter of Edward and Paulette (Fontana) Schradin. She passed from this life February 14, 2025 in Round Rock, Texas at the age of 66 years. Paulette grew up in Greenwood Lake, New York. She received her Associates Degree in Communications from the Duchess Community College in Poughkeepsie, New York, where she was a DJ at the college radio station. She moved to Round Rock in 1979 and soon after began working at IBM. She was a Quality Control Engineer for IBM for 17 years. It was there that she met the love of her life, Jeff Maidlow and they were united in marriage on May 26, 1990. On July 30, 2001, Paulette began her 23 year career at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home working as the Office Manager. Paulette had a servant's heart and was compassionate about helping the families in their time of need. She had a huge presence in the Georgetown Community and was very active in the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and the Sunrise Rotary Club. Paulette was instrumental in helping organize the Blue Santa Toy Drives and the bike run for the Red Poppy Festival.
Paulette was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Paulette Schradin. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Jeff Maidlow; children, Derek Maidlow and wife Nicole, Emily Denson and Melissa Landis and husband Drew; sister, Anita Schradin and husband Joe; brothers, Tony Schradin and wife Debbie, and Ed Schradin and wife Denise; grandchildren, Kade, Noah, Briah, Hailey, Wyatt, Kynlee, Brandon and Cassidy; great-grandchildren, Brayleigh, Emory and Faye; her beloved fur babies, Ruby and Ivy; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, 2900 Williams Drive, Georgetown, Texas. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 8 at 12:00 Noon at the funeral home. Interment will follow at IOOF Cemetery in Georgetown.
