Pearl Lee Stanford

Pearl Lee Stanford, 82, died unexpectedly Friday, February 22, 2019 at her home in Jarrell, Texas with her husband by her side.  Visitation will be held at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel in Georgetown, Texas on Monday, February 25th from 6 to 8 pm.  Funeral services will be held at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel at 2pm, Tuesday, February 26th followed by internment at IOOF Cemetery in Georgetown, Texas. 

Pearl was born on October 6, 1936 in Georgetown, Texas to Cora and Albert King.  Pearl was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  Pearl’s passions in life were her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  Pearl and her husband enjoyed league bowling and dancing.  Pearl loved family gatherings and gardening.

Pearl was preceded in death by her parents, Cora and Albert King, three brothers, Irving (I.L.), Alvin (Pete), and Ollie King and one sister Marie Catron.  Pearl leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, Harold Stanford of Jarrell, Texas,   two brothers, Edward King of Salado, Texas and Robert King Sr. and wife Rita of Granger, Texas; daughter  Lynne Purkey Hall and Kevin of Round Rock, Texas, son Clarence Purkey and Janet  of Pensacola, Florida;  five  grandchildren,  Christine Purkey-Benson,  Angela Hall, David Purkey,  Amanda Miertschin, and Macy Becker ;  10 great-grandchildren,   Ivan Modkins,  Kialee Modkins, Gavin Purkey, Ava Purkey,   Henley Purkey, Jagger Purkey,  Analise Drabent, Devin Miertschin,  Corbin Miertschin, Rylynn Miertschin, Osi Milligan, Shawn Benson  and a host of nieces and nephews.
