Private services were held for Ralph Victor “Chip” Bowers, III, 61, of Georgetown. Chip entered into rest November 6, 2010 at his home. He was born January 31, 1949 to Ralph Victor, Jr. and Betty Jane (Breighner) Bowers in York, Pennsylvania. Chip received a BA in Art from York College of Pennsylvania. He worked for a while at the Naval Depot in Mechanicsberg, PA. Chip had a love of animals, especially horses, art, and caring for his family. He provided supportive care for his father and mother after moving to the Georgetown area. Chip attended Christ Lutheran Church in Georgetown. Chip is survived by his father, Ralph Victor Bowers, Jr. of Austin; sisters, Lori Bergthal of Georgetown and Mary Laura Buss of Amberson, PA.; brother, Gregory Neil Bowers of Dillsburg, PA; and cousin, David Frock of Houston.
