Randall Keith Frizzell, known lovingly to many as Randy. A man whose legacy is not measured in accolades or possessions, but in the depth of love he gave, the lives he touched, and the unwavering selflessness that defined his every day.
Randy was born in Corpus Christi, Texas the third of 4 children. His parents, UM (Buck) and Marjorie Frizzell and his siblings, Charles, Cheryl, and Marty all preceded him in death.
Randy was the epitome of putting others first. He lived with a quiet strength and a generous heart, always placing the needs of those around him above his own. Whether it was showing up at the baseball field at midnight after a grueling 12-hour work-day, or driving across the state to find the perfect first car for his son’s 16th birthday, Randy never hesitated. His love was action, constant, tireless, and unconditional.
He shared 53 beautiful years of marriage with the love of his life, Brenda. Their bond was a testament to enduring love —- a partnership built on respect, laughter, and unwavering support. Together, they created a home filled with warmth, generosity, and joy.
As a father to Brian and Kevin, Randy was a guiding light. He lived to give his sons every opportunity to succeed, not just in their careers, but in life. He taught them the value of hard work, the importance of kindness, and the power of showing up — even when no one else does.
Randy was also a deeply loving grandfather, affectionately known as “Poppy.” He cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren - Noah, Austin, Hudson, Madi, Kamryn and our angel in heaven, Nathanial. Whether it meant flying to San Diego to cheer them on at sporting events, attend graduations, watch performances, or spend countless Saturdays at the softball fields with Madi and Kamryn. Poppy was always there. His presence was a source of joy and encouragement, and his love for his grandchildren was boundless.
Randy had a gift for connection. He could make friends with anyone he met, and he made everyone feel seen, heard, and valued. His presence was comforting, his smile infectious, and his spirit unforgettable.
Randy, Dad, Poppy, will always be loved, always be missed, and forever be remembered.
Memorial service will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, August 16, 2025, at First United Methodist Church in Georgetown, Texas.
