Richard J. Ledoux

Richard J. Ledoux, 84 of Sun City Georgetown, Texas, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2013. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 25, 2013 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 2:00PM at St. Helen’s Catholic Church, 2700 East University Blvd., Georgetown. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery, Georgetown. Richard was born December 7, 1928 in Spencer, Massachusetts to the late Dona and Sylvia Jacques Ledoux. Richard served his country honorably in the United States Army. Richard went on to serve as Vice President of Sales for General Electric Appliance Division and later with other appliance companies in similar positions. After he retired in 1992, Richard started his own business, Trinity & Associates. Richard married Lila Laughery on June 23, 2001 in Fort Worth, Texas. Together they have enjoyed their last 10 years in the Sun City community of Georgetown. Richard had a great love for his children and grandchildren. He especially loved babies when he encountered them in public. Richard had been an active member of the St. Helen’s parish since moving to Georgetown. Richard is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Teresa Ledoux. Richard leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Lila Ledoux of Sun City; his sons, Stephen Ledoux and wife Sara of Portland, Oregon and Dr. Peter Ledoux and wife Debbie of San Antonio; his daughters, Teresa Totte and husband Jim of Palo Alto, California and Michele Ledoux Shih and husband Ben of San Rafael, California; his brother, Paul Ledoux of North Grafton, Massachusetts; 12 grandchildren and 4 step grandchildren; along with a host of other loving friends and family. Richard’s family request that memorial donations be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. Helen’s Catholic Church, 2700 East University Blvd., Georgetown, Texas 78626.
