Robert June Terry

Robert June Terry, age 80, of Georgetown, Texas, died Sunday, September 23, 2007, in Georgetown, Texas. He was born September 7, 1927, in Glen Elder, Kansas, to Lonnie and Mildred Terry. Mr. Terry served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. On February 18, 1955, he married Elodie Shattuck in Lake Charles, Louisiana. A member of the Methodist faith, Bob had retired from working in the Food Brokerage Industry as a sales representative. During his younger years, Bob was an avid hunter and golfer. He loved the outdoors and was a tireless observer of current events, always seeking input from others on these issues. His many friends always appreciated his sense of humor and generosity. He is survived by his wife, Elodie; a son, Craig Terry of Austin; and son and daughter-in-law, Brent and Lydia of Austin; brothers Ray Terry of Glen Elder, Kansas; Roger Terry of Salina, Kansas; Ron Terry of Auburn, Kansas; and his grandchildren Drew Terry, Ian Terry, Luke Terry, Lindsay Terry, and Grace Terry. The family will receive friends at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel, 393 North IH 35 in Georgetown, Texas, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM, Tuesday, September 25, 2007.
