Rudolfo Arturo Zavala, 71, of Hutto, Texas, passed away on August 24, 2026. Born on August 5, 1955, Rudolfo will be remembered with deep respect for a life shaped by steady devotion to family, faith, and the simple, lasting joys of time well spent.
Rudolfo built a strong working life through his roles at IBM Westinghouse, Abbott Labs, and NCS Pearson, earning regard through reliability and perseverance. His Catholic faith was a guiding presence, and he was part of the community of Saint Helen’s Catholic Church.
Away from work, Rudolfo found pleasure in the camaraderie of playing softball, shooting pool, and putting golf. He also enjoyed cruising in the country with cousin Ernest and friends—moments marked by easy conversation, familiar roads, and the kind of companionship that needs no ceremony to be meaningful.
Rudolfo is survived by his brother, Freddy Zavala. He was preceded in death by his father, Jessie Zavala, and his mother, Ysabel Zavala.
Visitation will be held at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, 2900 Williams Drive, Georgetown, Texas 78628, on September 2, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with a rosary taking place at 7:00 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Helen Catholic Church, 2700 E University Avenue, Georgetown, Texas 78626, on September 3, 2026 at 10:00 am. A Committal Service will follow at Georgetown Memorial Cemetery, 1301 Weir Road, Georgetown, Texas 78626.
Following the committal service, the family would like to invite everyone for a gathering at St. Helen Catholic Church to continue sharing memories and celebrating Rudolfo's life.
