Russell Lee Ross

Russell Ross, age 58, of Georgetown, Texas, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2012 after courageously fighting aggressive lung cancer and Hodgkin’s Lymphoma for a year and a half. His loving sister, Deborah Harrison, was at his side. Russell, who was the youngest child, was born in San Antonio, Texas on September 24, 1953 to parents Walter V. and Edna E. (Morse) Ross. He graduated high school in Atlanta, Georgia and worked as a surveyor for the last ten years.

Russell is survived by his sister: Deborah Ross Harrison of Lewisville, Texas; nieces: Alecia Harrison Kendrick of Aubrey, Texas and Kristina Harrison Guerrero of Lewisville, Texas; nephews: Jeffery L. Harrison Jr. of Newport News, Virginia, Jimmy Joe Ross of Alamogordo, New Mexico and Trey Jason Ross of San Antonio, Texas; and best friend “Buddy”.

Russell was preceded in death by his mother and father: Walter and Edna Ross, and brother: James Walter (Jimmy) Ross.

Memorial service will be 2 PM on Friday, February 24, 2012 at the Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas.
