

Russell A. Wade, 48, of Georgetown, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2013 after many years of debilitating illness. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at 2:00PM at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel, 393 North IH 35, Georgetown, TX, with Rev. Yvonne Coon officiating. As a boy, Russell loved the outdoors, fishing, hiking in the woods, and participating in Boy Scout activities. He also excelled at competitive swimming. Russell attended Clear Lake High School in the Houston area before earning an Associate's Degree in automotive technology from Texas State Technical College. He was very creative and a talented artist. He loved science, history and anything to do with animals. He was especially fond of his dogs, Sookie and Chloe, as they were of him. He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Luther and Donna Russell and Leo and Ann Wade, uncles Toby and Bill Russell, and his aunt Mary Donathan. He leaves behind to cherish his memory: his parents, Leo and Donna Wade; sister, Stacey Screws and her husband Jim; uncle, Bobby Russell and wife, Duveen; aunt, Sandra Conway and husband, Sam; aunt, Judi Draper; uncle, Rick Wade and wife Geri, his former wife Pat Roman, and other loving family and friends.
