Shahrokh "Shaw" Nasseri Pidani left this life on December 5, 2021. After years of fighting cancer, it was time to go home and see the rest of his family. He passed away at his home in Liberty Hill, Texas surrounded with love from his wife Dianna, son Michael, and daughters Kristi, Melissa, and Elizabeth. Shaw loved his family and in his last days he was constantly surrounded by them.
Shaw was born on December 22, 1951 in Masjed-i-Soleiman (MIS), Iran. He attended elementary school at Shams Davari in his hometown prior to leaving for Tehran to attend highschool at Alborz. He received his BS in Physics from Pars Technical University in Tehran prior to leaving his home country to further his education. He came to the United States in 1975 to attend college. He began his studies in the U.S. with a semester at Kansas University in Lawrence, Kansas. He then went on to receive his Masters in Mechanical Engineering at Texas A&I in Kingsville, TX (now Texas A&M-Kingsville).
He was preceded in death by his younger brother Kiarokh and his father Soltan Ali Nasseri, both of whom resided in Iran.
Shaw is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Dianna Pidani of Liberty Hill, Texas; his mother, Mabagom Akasheh; 2 sisters, Parirokh and Mahrokh; 1 brother, Farrokh; 5 nephews; and 2 nieces.

Shaw loved his family and was an avid hunter. He was the proud owner/operator of Barton Hills Mobile in South Austin for 10 years. He loved cars and people, which made the business no longer a job but one of the greatest joys of his life. Barton Hills Mobil was the last full service gas station in South Austin. Shaw loved helping people so much he extended it to the way he ran his business.
Shaw was an upstanding and caring man who raised his 4 stepchildren like his own. He loved having a big family and was even more excited to learn about every new grandbaby. Shaw loved his grandbabies to the moon and back; he cherished the little girls and adored the little boys until the very end. Nothing made him happier than a sign saying “Proud Papa”.
Shaw will be eternally missed and forever loved by his family, friends, and relatives. The world has lost one of the greatest husbands, fathers, and friends it will ever know.
The family would like to give a very special thank you to Dr. John Ziebert for his compassion and care during this time.
