

She was the loving wife of Robert for 43 years (deceased 2008). After Immaculata Jr. College in Washington D.C., she graduated from Dyke Business School and worked at the law firm of Thompson, Hine and Flory. She was the founder of and long time activist of Texas Tea Party Republican Women. She was active in her church teaching Sunday School for all ages and served for Between Jobs Ministry, Northwest Bible Church.
Susan was preceded in death by her son, Chad Darbyshire. She is survived by her daughters Aimey Hanners (husband Ty), Robbin Isham (husband Philip), Jill DeYoung (husband David) and son Matt Darbyshire (wife Adrienne), and daughter in law, Marion, her 12 grandchildren, one great grandchild, sister Maricaye Mowdy and brother, Tom Moran.
Memorial service will be celebrated on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, 2900 Williams Drive, Georgetown, TX 78628. The family invites guests to join them at the Hanners house for a reception following the service at this address, 9321 Manitou Springs Lane, Austin, TX 78717.
