Theresa Marie Coyle, a 25 year resident of South Austin, Texas, passed peacefully away on May 31, 2017 under watchful eyes of Brookdale Westlake Hospice staff. Theresa was born on December 9, 1949 in Shreveport, Louisiana as one of two daughters born to John Joseph Coyle and Anne Shirley Wesner, both of whom are deceased. Theresa worked for the State of Texas in the Texas Workers Compensation Commission and the Texas Department of Insurance for 15 years where she retired from state service in August 2012.
Theresa was a private and loving person with a limited number of friends that will miss her wit and sense of humor. Theresa's life as a single mature adult battling a terminal illness demonstrated her enduring will and strength that is to be admired and exemplified by all. May she rest peacefully in the arms of her creator.
Per her request, Theresa's remains will be placed in the Pieta Columbaria at Assumption Cemetery in Austin, Texas on June 30, 2017 at 11 a.m.
