

Anthony Edward Weary, II, known affectionately as Tony to his family and friends, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2025, in Georgetown, Texas. Born on February 2, 1970, in Harlingen, Texas, Tony's vibrant spirit and infectious enthusiasm for life left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
Tony's life was one of dedication and service, as evidenced by his over twenty-year career as a Lineman, where he not only excelled in his work but also took on the vital role of a Supervisor. He was also a proud member of the IBEW (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers).
He was not only a devoted father to his own children, but a mentor and father figure to many others who were fortunate enough to know him. He welcomed every child with warmth and patience, often taking them along on fishing trips and teaching them valuable life skills that went beyond the water's edge. His generosity of spirit, guidance and love left a lasting impression on countless young lives, creating memories and lessons that will carry on forever.
He was a beacon of joy and laughter, often found singing and dancing, spreading happiness effortlessly. Tony's zest for life was contagious, and he had the unique ability to uplift the spirits of those around him with his humor and warmth.
He often was tinkering with 4-wheelers, always eager to fix and improve anything mechanical. His boundless energy meant he was always on the go, yet he never missed an opportunity to spend quality time with his loved ones.
Tony is survived by his devoted wife, Marchelle Miles-Weary; his children, Yamili Weary, Yessenia Weary, Chabeli Weary, Yessica Kanesewah, Anthony Weary III, River Weary, and Isaiah Weary; his cherished mother, Mille Weary; and his siblings, Angela Weary-Crooks, Alan Weary, and Andrea Weary. His legacy also lives on through a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will forever remember his larger-than-life presence and the positive impact he had on their lives.
The Weary family takes comfort in knowing that Tony's life was one of profound influence and enduring love. His guidance, wisdom, and the countless memories he created will continue to be a guiding light for his family and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Visitation will be held Saturday, September 20, 2025 from 11:00am to 12:30pm. A Celebration of Life will follow at 1:00 pm at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, 2900 Williams Drive, Georgetown, Texas.
