She enjoyed playing cards, especially Bridge, going to plays and movies, traveling with friends, and spending time with her grandkids.
She is preceded in death by her parents Newton and Gertrude Abbott, and her husband William Thomas McPhail. She is survived by her sisters, Carol Knop and Sharon Gassman; sons, Stuart McPhail and his wife Kristine McPhail, and Steve Dickerson; and her grandchildren Alana McPhail, Braden Dickerson, and Katie Dickerson.
