Wesley Glenn Anderson

Wesley Glenn Anderson was born September 11, 1949 in Painesville, Ohio, the son of Wesley Glenn and Jeanne (Hoskins) Anderson. He passed from this life July 4, 2022 in Austin, Texas at the age of 72. Glenn and the former Patricia Sue Gribble were married on October 10, 1970 in Painesville, Ohio. She preceded him in death on January 23, 2022 after 51 years of marriage.

Glenn’s 22 year Air Force career took them to many different places and after his retirement they moved to Georgetown from Virginia. Glenn loved trains and photography. He enjoyed studying the performance of trains and their routes. Many family vacations were taken to a place there was a train he had been wanting to photograph. He was a member of Crestview Baptist Church and had an extreme honor and devotion to his country.

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sons, Doug (Douglas) and Larry (Lawrence). He is survived by his sons, William (and wife April) of Odessa, TX and Thomas (and wife Shannon) of Austin, TX, 6 grandchildren; Mikayla, Kirstin, Aidan, Caroline, Katherine and Mitchell; sister, Joyce Anderson brother Brian Anderson (and wife Deborah) and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 10:00 am at the Crestview Baptist Church, 2300 Williams Drive, Georgetown, Texas.
