

Born on January 7, 1931, in Newark, New Jersey, William built a life centered around dedicated craftsmanship, hard work, and a deep commitment to his faith and family. He worked as a Facilities Engineer for RCA in New Jersey before relocating his family to Texas in 1978 to continue his career with Motorola. William was a retired member of the Army National Guard, having served his country for 30 years.
A natural builder and handyman, William was a man of many talents and hobbies. He found great joy in constructing intricate model airplanes and boats, painting, and spending peaceful days crabbing. He was a member of Elks Lodge #2659 in Georgetown and a parishioner of St. Helen Catholic Church.
William was united in marriage to his beloved wife Helen, on September 12, 1953. Together, they built a beautiful life and legacy until her passing on May 27, 2016. He was also preceded in death by his mother, Grace Dunn; his brother, Ed Dunn; and his daughter-in-law, Terry Dunn.
He is survived by his devoted children: sons Kevin Dunn, Keith Dunn and his wife Margie; and daughter Cathy Orlando and her husband Gary. His memory will be cherished by his grandchildren: Jacob Dunn, Scott Dunn, Jennifer Dunn, Dana Orlando, Katie Larsen, and Rachel DeCarlo; as well as his great-grandchildren: Katherine Charlton, Penny Larsen, Teddy Larsen, and Ellie and Gia DeCarlo.
Memorial services will be held Monday, August 10, 2026 at 10:00 AM at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home, 2900 Williams Drive, Georgetown, Texas 78628. Inurnment will follow at Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery.
