Yolanda M. Jones

She accepted Christ at a very young age and was baptized by the late Rev. WM Reed at St. John College Heights Baptist Church. She was an active member of the Fellowship Choir, Women's Choir, Sunday School, and Mission. She was a member of the Eastern Star Organization. After moving to Georgetown she united with Friendly Will Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Rudy Williams where she also was an active faithful member of the Women's Ministry and Secretary of Sunday School.

Yolanda worked for Wackenhut Corporation as a Payroll Administration for many years. In 2012 she started work for the Census Bureau up until her death.

Yolanda Jones departed this life on Friday May 8, 2026. She is preceded in death by her mother Mary Kay Jones and beloved Grandmother Daisy Parks.

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished by her daughter, Desiree Jones; Grandsons, D'Arbreion Jones, Patrick Patterson, Malachi Patterson, Kahleal Jones; her brother, David Files and many other relatives and close friends.
