Funeral service for Kimberly Compton, 50, of Greenville will be held at 3pm on Monday, September 27th, 2021 with Bro. Larry Gaston officiating. Burial will follow at Providence Cemetery. The family will recieve friends from 6-8pm on Sunday night. Mrs. Compton passed away Friday in Greenville.
She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Johnny Compton; children Zackery Compton, Johnathan Compton (Alex), Tyler Compton, and Elizabeth Compton; siblings Shawn Owens, Devin Owens (Katherine), and Crystal Reynolds (Chris); mother Nelda Faye Owens; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father, Wayne Owens; grandparents William Ralph Owens and Annie Jean Owens, Eulalia Stinson, Larkin Stinson.
Pallbearers will be Jacob Purvis, Zachary Purvis, Micheal McNeil, Christopher Reynolds, Michael Phillips, Heath Howell, Jeremy Phillips, Will Owens.
She was a longtime member of Providence United Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing, camping, and loved her pets. She was a loving wife, mother, and sister.
