Graveside service for Mrs. Mary Jane Wright, 66, of Georgiana will be held at 2pm on Monday May 11th, 2020 at Mt. Olive East Cemetery. Mrs. Wright passed away on May 8th, 2020 in Montgomery.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Charles Wright Sr.; her children Sherry Solar (Yancey), Cindy Rooks, Debbie Rooks, and Charles Wright Jr. (Kaynelle); ten grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; many brothers and sisters and nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her son, Jason Wright; and her parents Melvin Woodruff and Elizabeth Morrell.

Mrs. Wright was an excellent cook and loved to feed everybody. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She loved listening to gospel music. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be missed.

Mary Jane was a very sweet and caring person. She loved Chuck, her kids, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be missed by all. My prayers go out to the family but we all know she is in a better place now.

She never turned anyone away from her table I enjoyed a many good meals and conversation with her . Hope Dad doesn’t have her cooking for him she’s prepared plenty for us while she was with al of us never to be forgotten

Mary Jane and i literally raised our children together we cooked we cleaned we cleaned fish and turkeys and anything else that was brought in a throwed down in floor to clean we have laughed and cried so many times I will never forget her but I am thankful she is healed and with her jason

I remember her giving my husband one of her famous biscuits and said for him to send me a bite. He literally brought a bite to me. Boy did she get on him lol. I remember so many talks with her. I will miss you dearly. My love and prayers are with you all.
